Important changes to the undergraduate program commencing Semester 1, 2009

As a profession, psychology is growing in importance, with opportunities in neuropsychology, clinical, organisational, counselling and health psychology, among many other areas. As a field of research and study, psychology covers a diverse range of topics.

Macquarie University has a wide range of psychology offerings at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level, leading to professional careers or to research opportunities. The first year of psychology provides a good overview of the field.

The following pages give information on career opportunities in Psychology and the various methods of admission to the Psychology programme at Macquarie University.

We would be delighted to welcome you to Macquarie should you decide that you want to study psychology or related subjects with us.
