Noticeboards
It is advisable for psychology students to read the general notice board located in the ground floor lobby of building C3A; and the relevant 100-level, 200-level and 300-level noticeboards located in the corridor of the ground floor of building C3A. These noticeboards contain relevant information about the current semester's units. For example, on the general notice board you will find a list of psychology staff with details of their location and consultation hours, the class timetable, the undergraduate program etc. The I00-level, 200-level and 300-level noticeboards have tutorial lists and other relevant information regarding psychology undergraduate units.
Assignments
The locked essay boxes for all undergraduate units are located on the ground floor inside the Faculty of Human Sciences Undergraduate Student Services Centre. All assignments are to be placed in these boxes. Evening students can lodge their assignments in the single essay box located outside the entrance to C3A - to be used only when the building is locked. When an assignment is due for a particular unit, there will be a labelled assignment box allocated to it. If there is no labelled box, assignment should be submitted in the “All Other Undergraduate” assignment box. The boxes are cleared at 10.00 am Monday to Friday and again at 4pm only on Friday. It is the responsibility of the student to check the Psychology assignment received web page, after submitting the assignment to ensure that the assignment has been received.
Assignments submitted by post, and electronic copies of assignments will not be accepted.
Under no circumstances are assignments to be left anywhere other than in the locked essay boxes.
Most assignments are returned via tutorials or practicals. If an assignment is not received during a class, it will be available for collection from the Faculty of Human Sciences Undergraduate Services Student Centre. A list of assignments available for collection in the Faculty of Human Sciences Undergraduate Services Student Centre is displayed on the notice board near the counter. Student ID card must be shown for identification purposes before collecting an assignment.
