Clinical Services
MUARU currently offers a range of fee-based treatment services for child and adult anxiety sufferers. These services can be accessed by people who do not want to participate in our research programs, or who suffer an anxiety problem which is currently outside the scope of our research interests.
MUARU is a clinical research centre of international standing which is at the forefront of excellence in terms of utilising the most up-to-date and scientifically proven treatments for children and adults suffering from anxiety. All treatment services are provided by psychologists who have specialist training within our Unit.
If you are interested in having private individual treatment with one of our psychologists, please phone us at the clinic and we will be happy to arrange a suitable assessment time. Ongoing treatment sessions will be arranged with the assessing psychologist for a mutually convenient time.
As well as private individual treatment, MUARU also co-ordinates private treatment groups in areas outside the scope of our current research. These fee-based groups are formed throughout the year based on a minimum quota of participants, and the availability of our therapists.

FEES
Our clinical services are fee-based. These fees are similar to, but slightly below those charged by most clinical psychologists in Sydney. Specific fees can be described to you on contact.
In some cases, private health funds may provide a rebate for a portion of the costs of psychological services. You will need to check with the clinic and then with your own health fund.
