I’m a Macquarie student wanting to transfer into psychology. How do I do this?

You must have completed a minimum of 12 credit points and achieved an overall GPA of 2.5 to meet the requirements to apply for internal transfer to BA-Psychology or BSc-Psychology.

I’m struggling with statistics. What help is available?
The University has a Numeracy Centre where students find help with statistics units. Please refer to their website, at: http://www.maths.mq.edu.au/numeracy/

I am enrolled in a BA-Psy/BSc-Psy. Can I still undertake honours?
You may apply for the Honours program at the end of your BA-Psychology course provided you meet the requirements of applying to Honours. For more information please see http://www.psy.mq.edu.au/courses/c_4year.htm

I was advised to submit a waiver – how do I do this?

Please submit your waiver to https://ask.mq.edu.au/

I’ve submitted a waiver – when can I expect to be notified of the outcome?
The processing time for waivers is dependent on the unit, but generally they are processed within a week. If your waiver is approved, you will be able to see this via eStudent. If your request has not been approved, then you will be contacted.

I wish to enrol in more than 14 credit points this semester. How do I do this?

You will need to gain approval to undertake more than 14 credit points in a semester. Please complete an application form to undertake more than 14 Credit Points in a Semester (form available via http://www.registrar.mq.edu.au/academic-index.html ) and follow the submission instructions on the form.

If the additional unit is a PSY unit, please submit this form to Faculty of Human Sciences Undergraduate Student Services Centre (C3A Level 3). If your application is approved, Student Services will enrol you into the additional/requested unit

I am unwell and would like to withdraw from a unit but census date has passed. What do I do?
