CEH'S DR CATHY MCMAHON wins prize for best paper.

Dr Cathy McMahon won the prize was for the best paper in the Psychosocial stream at the Fertility Society of Australia meeting in Perth 25th -29th October, 2009.

The paper was called "Age at first birth, IVF conception and depression in the first four months after childbirth: Preliminary findings from the PATPA study.

Professor Ron Rapee, director of the Centre for Emotional Health, receives two prestigious awards.

Professor Ron Rapee was awarded the Australian Psychological Society 2009 Distinguished Scientific Contribution Award in October 2009. The Award recognizes the outstanding contribution Ron's work has made to the science of Psychology in Australia.

This award follows Ron's recent award in August from the Australian Association for Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy. He was awarded the 2009 Distinguished Career Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Cognitive Behaviour Research and Therapy.
